The ISGPS division develops and supports several core business applications for the Bank Group using Peoplesoft. The team works closely with business offices, other WBG IT teams and with contractual partners globally to deliver these services.

We have a ISGPS team at the World Bank"s India office. This team supports PeopleSoft ERP applications. We expect the scope of application systems supported in India to grow over a period of time. This position is for support of Peoplesoft applications, primarily North America Payroll.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Support North America Payroll application systems on the PeopleSoft platform. This support includes design, development, and deployment of enhancements and bug fixes to both simple and complex custom applications that use PeopleSoft tools and techniques. This work needs to be carried out in a fully compliant Software Development Lifecycle Methodology set out by IMT. To provide effective support, the team members need to fully grasp ISGPS supported business processes.

* Provide production support in the above mentioned application areas. This support includes troubleshooting of reported issues, and then coding, testing and implementing corrections to resolve issues, batch job monitoring etc.

* Take the lead in performing software development and maintenance tasks, and contribute as a team member on larger initiatives; provide input to project estimates.

* Create conceptual, functional and technical design specifications.

* Analyze existing systems functionality and identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.

* Integrate the solutions developed with other applications that interact with PeopleSoft systems.

* Adhere to quality standards and procedures, review modules for quality assurance and compliance, keep systems documentation updated.

* Be mindful of data confidentiality and privacy policies and procedures.

* Develop and maintain application architecture diagrams.

* Assist in capturing, tracing and reporting on operational metrics.

* Effectively interact with all technical teams in the Bank as well as clients distributed around the globe.

* Participate in internal and external audits and compliance attestations and assessments.

Required Qualifications:

* B.Sc / B. E / B. Tech in software or systems engineering, computer science, information systems management or equivalent. A Master"s degree in software or systems engineering, computer science, information systems management or equivalent would be preferred.

* 4+yrs of relevant experience, including three years of having performed well in a similar PeopleSoft specific role.

* Proven experience in complex PeopleSoft application solution analysis, design, integration and implementation skills.

* Strong PeopleSoft development skills including the PeopleSoft app designer, Peoplecode, application engine, SQR, and SQL. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL will be a plus.

* Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills in a PeopleSoft environment.

* Functional Expertise in the PeopleSoft HRMS modules is preferred.

* PeopleSoft Global Payroll knowledge is highly desirable.

* Design and documentation skills for implementation of business solutions. e.g. solution approach, impact analysis, functional specifications, unit and integration test plans

* Experience with interfaces between PeopleSoft and non PeopleSoft systems
